About the Role

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronics circuit board to control thermal electric coolers (TEC), and to control electrical motors to perform robotic actions.
- Design and develop electronics circuit board to measure system parameters such as temperature, or to trigger alarms.
- Develop board support packages (BSP) for different printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Conduct all system simulation and preventive testing to check the product reliability and quality.
- Prepare technical reports and design descriptions for the design finished.
- Create continuous improvement plans.

Salary: $50,000 – $90,000 per annum

Schedule:
– 8 hour shift
– Monday to Friday

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years or more of hands-on experience is required.
- Candidates must have strong learning skills.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience with microcontroller debugging using a multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator, etc.
- Familiar with ARM Cortex M series firmware programming with C/C++.
- Familiar with UART, I2C, SPI, and other common communication protocols.
- Experience with PCB design tools, preferably Cadence OrCAD, is an asset.
- Experience with STM32 microcontroller is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
- Mandarin is an asset.
